“The Turk in Italy” is an Opera Buffa in two acts by Gioacchino Rossini composed in 1814. The Lombardy Opera Circuit commissioned Daring House the production of a new version of the work based on an immersive digital experience, with graphic backrounds integrated with the movements of the performers.

The backgrounds are projected on three screens and are inspired by Naples in the early 1950s, as designed by scenographer Monica Manganelli. The realization is composed of digitalized live videos and animation, to convey a permanente sense of dynamics and evolution.

The production has been hailed as one of the best of the year by Opera Click.
